Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Gavin's Mini-Split Cleaning ("we," "us," or "our") handles the information you provide when you contact us or request a cleaning.

Information we collect

We collect information only when you voluntarily provide it, such as:

  • Your name
  • Contact information (phone number and, if you provide it, email)
  • Service address / town and ZIP
  • Request details (unit types and counts, preferred timing, notes)
  • How you found us, saved with your request: the ad or campaign tags in the link you arrived on, the address of the website that sent you (without any search terms), and, if you came from one of our Facebook or Instagram ads, the click ID Meta adds to that link

How we use it

  • To respond to your request and confirm service area, unit types, schedule, and price
  • To contact you about your appointment by your preferred method (call, text, or email)

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to provide the service or to comply with the law, and with Meta to measure our ads, as described under "Advertising & measurement" below.

Your choices

You can ask us to view, update, or delete your information by emailing gavinsminisplitcleaning@gmail.com.

Advertising & measurement (Meta)

We advertise on Facebook and Instagram, which are run by Meta Platforms, Inc. To see whether those ads actually lead to appointment requests, so we do not waste money on ads that do not work, we share limited information about your visit with Meta. There are two ways this happens.

1. When you send a request (unless you choose "Decline")

After your appointment request is successfully received, our server tells Meta that a request came in. This happens if you chose "Allow" or have not made a choice yet. It never happens if you chose "Decline." The report contains:

  • That a request (a "Lead") happened, when it happened, and a random one-time ID used to avoid counting it twice
  • The address of the page on this site you sent it from, including any ad or campaign tags in that address
  • Your IP address and your browser's description of itself (browser type and version, operating system)
  • Meta's ad click ID, if you came from one of our Facebook or Instagram ads. Meta adds this ID to the link when you click the ad. We keep it in your browser for that visit only (it is cleared when you close the tab) so we can pass it along with your request. It lets Meta match the request to the ad click.
  • Meta's own cookie IDs, if Meta's pixel has already set them in your browser

2. The Meta Pixel (only if you choose "Allow")

If you choose "Allow," your browser also loads the Meta Pixel, an advertising and measurement tool from Meta. It sets Meta cookies and sends Meta the page you are viewing, the page you came from, your browser and device details (including screen size and language), and your IP address. It reports a page view and, after a successful request, the same "Lead" with the same one-time ID. Meta's cookies may connect your visit to your Meta account if you have one. The pixel does not load until you choose "Allow."

What we never send Meta

We do not send Meta your name, phone number, email address, service address, town or ZIP, unit counts, preferred date or arrival window, price estimate, notes, or anything else you type into the form, either as plain text or in scrambled ("hashed") form. We do not use Meta's "advanced matching."

Your choice

  • If you choose "Decline," nothing about your visit or your request is sent to Meta, from your browser or from our server.
  • Declining changes nothing else: the site, the estimate, the request form, and call and text all work exactly the same. The ad tags and click ID are still saved with your request in our own records (see "Information we collect"), but they are not sent to Meta.
  • Your choice is stored in your own browser (local storage on this device) and you can change it at any time: (currently: Not set). Choose before you send a request for it to apply to that request. If you decline after previously allowing it, reload the page to fully clear what was already loaded.
  • You can also block or clear these cookies in your browser settings, and manage ad settings in your Meta account.

Meta's handling of the data it receives is governed by its own privacy policy at facebook.com/privacy/policy .

Terms of Use

1. Services

Our services are limited to deep cleaning of ductless mini-split systems. We do not provide repairs, installations, or electrical work.

2. Requests, scheduling & pricing

  • Submitting the online form sends a request, not a confirmed booking. We confirm your service area, unit types, availability, and final price before your appointment.
  • Mini-split cleaning is priced at $200 for the first unit cleaned in a visit and $125 for each additional unit, regardless of unit type (wall unit, floor console, or ceiling cassette) — all units in the visit are counted together. Commercial properties, difficult-access units, and out-of-area travel may be quoted separately.
  • Payment is due on completion of the service, unless arranged in advance. Please let us know as early as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel.

3. Access & responsibility

You are responsible for providing safe access to the units to be cleaned. We are not responsible for pre-existing issues or damage related to your equipment, including electrical, mechanical, or structural conditions. Our total liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.

4. Satisfaction

If you're not satisfied with the cleaning, please contact us and we'll do our best to make it right.

5. Changes

We may update this page from time to time. Updates are posted here with a revised date.
